The Little Buffalo State Park has a recreation hall in the campground area. The hall is great when there's inclement weather. The hall is also available for special events.

This is a great park, history, camping, huge swimming pool, beautiful trails. If you are camping, you will need a car to go to the above places; I would say they're all about a mile away with a long steep hill to welcome you back.

Great little park to camp at. We only stayed a free days and it was over the covid times, but people still friendly just farther away. Nice pool and other amenities. Nice lake to fish or go boating. Activities for kids happening still.

This park is wonderful and the modern lodge we stayed in was beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. The park ranger and all the staff are top notch. I highly recommend this place.

This is our second year coming to this small campground. What the campground lacks is made up with trails, lake and swimming pool. You will see some wildlife. The ones you don't see will leave evidence of their visit. I highly recommend Base Camp Outfitters in Newport for your fishing gear

We did modern camping in a beautiful "unique house" that we stayed at over the Thanksgiving holiday. Very comfortable, roomy, for large family. . If needed, grocery stores and restaurants within 10-15 minute drive. We enjoyed our holiday meal in their big kitchy, had a campfire outside, s'mores included. :-) Great place to spend time with friends and family

Nature Lover's Paradise! We visited Little Buffalo state park this past weekend. We stayed in the campground, site 43. It's big but does provide much privacy from site 42. It's a paved site. There was shade in the morning but rest of the day was too sunny for summer heat. We would opt for a different site when visiting the park again. The bathhouse was clean and appeared to have been renovated. The campground was clean. If you are a tent camper, this park has 4 walk up sites that are secluded and absolutely beautiful. The park has a lake, swimming pool and many hiking trails. There are shallow creeks for wading. There are so many places to sit. Many picnic areas along the lake. There is separate boat/kayak launch area which has picnic tables. This park is simply peaceful, serene and has amazing views. We loved our visit and looking forward to visiting again in fall.
